About US

Here's who, when, what and why

Many of us are born near a unique geographical landscape feature - the mountains, the prairie, the sea or the desert, the essence of which remains in our blood for a lifetime. It is innate, fundamental, and fibrous. For me Patrick, the founder of Mountain Mills, it has been the Canadian Rockies. Born in the foothills and visible every moment, the Rockies emblemize Mountain Mills. Strong, dependable, always there.

Our mills began with a love of hand-crafted design and a passion for producing products that will last for generations. Our mills were first conceived by a man named Moose in Germany and were brought to Canada by a personal friend and further refined. True to their origins, Mountain Mills are rooted in German and Swiss know-how and Canadian precision manufacturing.
